Jamming with Double Stops by Jody Worrell is a free guitar lesson that will cover the basics of playing double stops. In this lesson, we'll use intervals called thirds to play along with a backing track of E major to A major. Jody will start by teaching you where to find the intervals on each set of strings. Next, he'll demonstrate the double stops along with a rhythm track. Take cues from Jody's improvised playing to start creating your own rhythm and melodic soloing ideas. Use different tempos and techniques (like hammer ons and slides) to add expression to your playing. To learn more check out our Allman Brothers Style Soloing Package.
