After graduation, he studied percussion and music at Furman University in Greenville, SC and Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Currently, he resides in the Atlanta area where he performs regularly with Newberry Jam, the Steven Wood Ensemble/Postal, Paul Warner/Novah, and countless other artists.  Additionally, he occupies the chair of house session drummer at Fireplace Studios in the East Atlanta Village and maintains a regular teaching schedule of private students.
