Jody Worrell on Stage with Mitch Ryder

Our own Jody Worrell recently had the pleasure of performing with Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels. Jody and his guitar joined Mitch on stage at Hippiefest in Peachtree City on August 15th. Below are three excerpts from the show along with an additional video that I can't help but think of every time I hear Mitch Ryder mentioned.

Power Chord Academy

Power Chord Academy is a summer camp to help teenagers learn how to play their instrument and in a band. They of 7, 3, and one day camps. The goal is to get young musicians together and have them play with different band members. They have camps in New York, Chicago, San Diego, Boston, Los Angeles, and Seattle this summer. I'm having trouble locating the pricing but since they are offering $100 discounts if you sign up before a deadline I'd guess it's a few hundred dollars depending on which session you choose. But have no fear, you can win a free session at the camp. For those of you who have seen age 18 come and go, you can apply to be an instructor.

If you're in the Atlanta, GA area, our own Jody Worrell will be hosting a blues guitar clinic Saturday March 14th. Click here for more info
