Funk Rock in E by Tommy Vickery is a free bass guitar video lesson that will teach you a couple bass lines to play over a funky rock groove in the key of E. We will use track 15, E7#9 Rock, from the Let's Jam! for Bass as our jam track. Because "E" is the lowest note on both the guitar and bass it has become a key that is used in many popular songs.

Rock Lines 1 by Russ Rodgers is a downloadable Quicktime video lesson for bass guitar. This lesson will guide you through playing some typical rock bass lines. Russ will teach you how to play each of the lines with the correct fingering and in time. Then you will get to practice each line along with a rhythm track at three different speeds.
