Matthias Young: Having earned a Bachelor of Music from Georgia State University, Matthias has become a leader in the field of Guitar Pedagogy. Similar to guitarists such as Randy Rhoads (Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne) and Chris Broderick (Jag Panzer, Nevermore, Megadeth), Matthias has a background in Classical Guitar which has influenced his electric guitar playing, both musically and technically.
A composer and performer, Matthias has conducted his music in front of choirs and orchestras, and he has performed works internationally. His music has been broadcast on radio and television stations such as Cartoon Network, WSB Radio, AIB TV, and The WB.
Matthias runs the guitar program at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta, GA. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
