Intro to Tenths

Intro to Tenths by Jody Worrell is a downloadable Quicktime video lesson discussing the interval of a tenth. A tenth is the interval between any given note and the third note up the scale from that note plus an octave. We'll learn how to play the 8 positions of the Major Scale in tenths. A tenth can be added to a solo or riff to add a sweet melodic sound. For example, tenths are used throughout the Beatles' classic Blackbird.
