Em Arpeggios

Em Arpeggios LessonEm Arpeggios is a free guitar lesson by Peter Vogl that will teach you how to use arpeggios for soloing. Using arpeggios (playing one note of a chord at a time) allows you to add some interesting intervals to solos. We'll look at four different short arpeggios to use with Em. After Peter teaches you each of the shapes, he'll demonstrate them along with Track 6, Steady in Em, from the Let's Jam! Unplugged CD. Playing with just arpeggios can lead to your solos sounding too academic. Mix them in with the penatonic scale to get a diverse sound. To learn more about this concept check out our Rock Arpeggios premium lesson.
