Peter Vogl has been playing and teaching guitar for over 15 years. He was raised in Michigan and went to college at the University of Georgia where he majored in music. He also did post graduate work at James Madison University. He has performed with the Jan Smith Band, Francine Reed, Steve Vai, James Brown, Earnie Isley, Earl Klugh, Sharon Isbin and currently performs in the Atlanta area with the Peter Vogl Band. He has set up and directed 6 different schools of music in the Atlanta area.Peter is currently working at Jan Smith Studios as a session player and guitar instructor.. He has written several instructional courses including Introduction to Blues Guitar Video & Blues Guitar Book, Introduction to Rock Guitar Video & Rock Guitar Book, Let's Jam CD, & The Guitarist's Tablature Book.
