Speed Building Lick

In this free rock guitar video lesson by Jody Worrell we'll learn a guitar lick that we can use to work on building up our speed. This lick is based on the G Major Pentatonic scale and features an even number of notes per string which makes the picking hand's job easier. This lesson provides a great opportunity to practice with a metronome. Play along in time and slowly increase the bpm until you can play the lick at a blazing speed.
