Minor 2-5-1 Progression with Moveable Chord Shapes by Guy Fenocchi is a free lesson for jazz guitar. Guy will teach you four different moveable dominant chord shapes that can be used to play a minor 2-5-1 chord progression. We'll cover playing the progression in both C and F separately and then demonstrate them together with a backing track. To learn more about this concept, check out Guy's Minor 2-5-1 Progression in Two Keys premium lesson.
Minor 2-5-1 Progression in Two Keys by Guy Fenocchi is a follow up to our beginning jazz guitar lesson on the Major 2-5-1. We'll start by learning two sets of chords that you can use to play this progression in C Minor. After teaching you about the chords and music theory, Guy will demonstrate the chords along with a backing track. We'll follow the same process for F Minor and then look at C and F played consecutively. The download includes a Quicktime video, three .mp3 jam tracks, and a .pdf of the chord charts.
