Another Solo in G

Another Solo in G by Billy Wilkie is a follow up lesson to our Solo in G video. We will learn a 13 measure solo to play over a G jazz blues progression. This solo is loosely based on the ideas of great jazz horn players like Lee Morgan, Sonny Stitt, Dexter Gordon, and Sonny Rollins. This is a Bebop sounding solo and we'll use the G Altered and D Altered scales to help us create the solo. We've included a jam track and tabs so you can practice this solo in rhythm with a band.
